JACO REHAB HONOLULU

As a recreational runner, ocean swimmer, and triathlete I have been a long time fan of JACO rehab and have enjoyed working with the entire team at their town clinic. About a decade ago Marissa T (now director of the Mililani clinic) helped me recover from a lower back injury, which completely resolved due to her diligence, encouragement, and thoughtfully designed in-clinic manipulations and take-home exercise regimens. Great pre and post op PT. Ross Lum and Joey Torigoe got me ready for my double hip replacement and cut my estimated recovery time in half. Three months after surgery I’m in the best physical condition in 10 years.

JACO In Honolulu is a convenient location for my Physical Therapy. Their office staff is professional & accommodating. Their offices & workout areas are clean & equipment updated. I am very happy with my Physical Therapist Peter Zhu who is helping me in my recovery from my leg injury. Peter is patient & understanding & is an excellent communicator, so we can do our therapy exercises to my full potential. He is sensitive to his patient’s needs & I leave my therapy appointment feeling satisfied that I’ve made strides on the road .

This is the second time I have been to JACO, the first time a few years ago and the quality of their services is still excellent. That time was for bursitis in my knee. This time I had frozen shoulder, which was no fun. Ross was my PT and was knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. (By the way, I came to JACO during the COVID pandemic and the staff handled safety and sanitation smoothly and without incident.) Hopefully I won't need physical therapy can again but if I do, I'd come back to JACO.

I had an excellent experience at JACO Rehab. I was being treated for my shoulder, and my physical therapist was Jon was every knowledgeable and got be back into surfing quickly. And Ed was helpful too.
