Great place for windy surf activities. I saw kayaks, wind surfing and kite surfing etc. Also nice beach for young kids. Sand is nice and soft and great for sand castle making. There is a bathroom and shower area. The parking can be challenging. Would suggest to go early, around 9am or earlier. Or you can wait around and wait for someone to leave. There are 3 parking locations in that area.

This place was beautiful and so peaceful. It wasn’t crowed. Nobody to bother me or ask me if I wanted to buy or rent anything, it was lovely. The water was clear. The sand was perfect. Lovely views. Had to go a second time the same week. There are bathrooms and showers. Parking can get a little hectic thou. There’s options to rent kayaks and those other things ud83cudfc4ud83cudffc‍♀ufe0f if you’re a bit more skill (pardon my lack of knowledge).

Little wind and occasional clouds made it nice to sit on the beach. Couple of windsurfers getting time in before possible weather change. Weekdays are pretty empty with gives plenty of options to pick a spot. Water was still pretty cold during this time of year.

This beach is the perfect place to relax and enjoy life in the moment. It's a smaller beach and less crowded than the previous beaches I've been to in Oahu. The soft white sand and clear blue water were the best part of the beach. A good size parking lot and public shower made this beach easy to access.nnMost people here come to relax. You don't see much surfing or paddle boarding but we did attempt at paddle boarding here. The trees in the back provided a good amount of shade. On a winter day in Hawaii, the sun was out and a small breeze came through. I was enjoying my time here after hiking two days in a row. It was definitely a nice break.nnKailua is an amazing area to live and vacation in. It's your getaway from the city life where you can enjoy more of the nature side of Hawaii and a breath of fresh air. A perfect spot for a nap on the beach.

There's a reason this beach is rated so high! Calm waves and amazing sand, no coral around either! Bathrooms, rinsing showers, and more amenities on site along with plenty of parking. Whenever I want to just chill on the beach during the week, this is where I go! Just beware of it being grossly filled with tourists on the weekends, so much so that you won't want to go.
