I highly recommend Dr Patel! I've been seeing him for years for all of my routine and preventive dental care. He has a great bedside manner, answers all of my questions, and has a great sense of humor too. I feel totally relaxed and comfortable with him and his staff.

I have had a life long dread of going to the dentist. Extremely sensitive teeth, prone to cavities, and novacaine is only marginally effective for me. It wasn't unusual for me to have a numerous fillings required as a kid, and each one was agony. I literally have nightmares about being in the dentist chair. So when I say Dr. Patel is the best dentist I have ever seen, it's saying something. I've been going to him for the last 9 years, and he's done extensive work. Numerous crowns, fillings and even an implant. He's got the latest technology, and is able to fabricate crowns while you wait. No more wearing an uncomfortable temporary and having to go back in a couple weeks! The best part is how he is able to greatly minimize the pain and discomfort, and is extremely sensitive to what an ordeal it is for me. A number of times, when I was traveling or abroad, I broke a tooth or lost a filling, and I was able to speak to Dr. Patel and get some advice on what to do until I could get home. When I did return, his office has always been great about seeing me quickly, to deal with my tooth crisis. I'm never going to enjoy going to the dentist, but at least with Dr. Patel, I know that the work will be done quickly, efficiently, and with the least amount of pain and discomfort, by a dentist who goes the extra mile for his patients. He clearly takes enormous pride in his work, and it shows. All his office staff and technicians, are top notch as well. Highly recommended.

Dr. Patel is an outstanding professional with a team equally excellent. My husband needed extensive dental treatment which included, among other things, the placement of 11 crowns! Dr. Patel, with his state of art equipment that can make crowns on site, treated my husband in just one visit!nDr. Patel also offers sedation, which it was essential in my husband's case since he suffers from dementia.nThe treatment lasted 5 hours and during the whole time Dr. Patel kept me informed about the procedure and, knowing that I was worried about my husband's condition, kept assuring me that my husband was doing just fine.nOne other thing that impressed me a great deal was that, when the treatment was over, both dr. Patel and the anesthesiologist, Dr. Edward Campbell, wheeled my husband in his wheelchair all the way to the parking lot, to where the transport van was waiting for my husband and I.nThank you so much Dr. Patel and the staff of Hawaii Pacific Dental Group!!!

Horrible experience. He tried to crown and fill more teeth than necessary. I went to another dentist and and found out I only need one filling. Stay away from this office.

Receptionists are rude! Would never be a client of this business!!!!
