Amazing piece of history to have a chance to walk through. Very nice to see that it is still here and still maintained for the children and visitors of today.nnIt's been about 20 years since our family went to visit. Still receive the same sense of walking back in time and looking through the eyes of the people who helped make Hawaii what it has become.nnPlease, to the caretakers, do not let this end.nnTo all others, take a moment and be sure to experience this amazing chance to walk back in time.

Staff could not have been more helpful, both over the phone and after we arrived. Nice little gift store inside the office. We came mostly to see some real sugar cane, and did not stay too long, but saw some interesting old photos and other artifacts. The buildings and fields give the feel of being on a farm. There is also a nice taro field on-site.

I love this place because it reminds me of growing up in the sugar plantation era. All residents of Hawaii whether born here or not should experience this great museum in Waipahu. It will give you a perspective of who we are here in Hawaii.

Great place to learn what life was like on Hawaii’s sugar plantations! Our guide Lance walked us through a replica of a plantation village, which was arranged chronologically from the 1850s-1930s, and shared the history/culture of the inhabitants and his own life experience growing up in a similar village. A real window into the life of the immigrants and their descendants who helped build modern Hawaii! Would definitely suggest visiting

I love this place! I could spend hours exploring all of the little houses and historical artifacts. The grounds are gorgeous.
