So definitely ud83cudfa7 listen to the audio guides they are available thought QR codes on signs and play off a website, no app or download needed like some places. And FREE!nn✨Bring a reusable water bottle!!! They have taps to refill and they don't sell bottled water or other single use plastic items ud83cudf31. Water fountain are also closed because pandemic. I was definitely dehydrated by the time I left.nnIf you are the kind of person who wants to see absolutely everything at a musaume you probably need to give yourself the entire day there. I was there for 3 hours and felt like I only saw maybe a 1/4, maybe a 1/6 of what that had to offer plus there was a building closed when I went that was getting ready for an exhibit.nnThey also didn't offer any kind of food for sale at the moment, as far as I could see. Maybe they did in the past, maybe they will in the future but during the pandemic in April 2021 they didn't. I was extremely hungry by the time I was done so maybe have a restaurant planned or pack snacks it did look like there were spots to sit and eat on the grass but just no where to get food.nnIt's definitely a really interesting really beautiful place to go like full of Hawaiian history. Definitely a place to make time for.

This is the hot topic now, and very informative exhibition. I learned a lot today. I wonder how many people can answer the question what race is... They also have another exhibition for surfing. The presentation is very fun to follow. Every time I go there, I am amazed there is the huge amount of information in each exhibition. Great appreciation to the Bishop museum, and hope many people visit there!

I'm a museum nerd. I loved the atmosphere of being in a building that is 132 years old. I absolutely loved how informative every description box was. I wish the Science Center was more interactive and the Planetarium was open, but... COVID. So what can you do? Overall, the displays were beautiful. The scaled-down solar system that is currently available is really cool too. Will definitely visit again.

It was a great time. Lots of cool things to read about. Lots of cool things for even the kids to look at. Was able to get a deeper upstanding and knowledge of the hawaiian culture. The only thing I wasn't fond of is that you have to pay for parking??? It's only $5 dollars. But we are already paying over $20 to get a ticket to see what's inside. Probably could park on the street. All and all it was definitely fun and entertaining.

So much to see and learn, beautifully presented. We spent 8 hours and would have liked at least that many more. What a rich, dynamic culture to explore. And this is the only place we can find such a collection. One hint: During COVID-19 food service is very limited. Be prepared.
