Avoid this pharmacy if you want to be treated with decency and respect. I dealt with Richard Shaker in the pharmacy, when going to fill a prescription written by my treating physician. He asked why the prescription had been written in a tone of voice that was extremely disrespectful. When I explained why I had been issued the prescription he simply stated he wouldn't fill it again in that condescending tone. I left feeling extremely humiliated both for having to explain my medical condition to him as well as his utter lack of compassion and his total disrespect for me as a customer.

I went to Walgreens Pharmacy for years and I wish I'd had a better option. My previous review gave them 2 stars because they were 24/7. Now they have changed their hours so now they get 1 star. Wish I could give them 0. Service is AWFUL. They just can't be bothered to help you. I've even been insulted. I had one phone call where I asked if my Rx would be ready in 30 minutes. My question was answered with a long, obnoxiously loud laugh at my expense and a scathing, "oh no, not for at least an hour." I'm not complaining about the wait time in this instance (although that's another issue I've had before), but seriously. The lady could have been nice about informing me of the wait time instead of screeching like a hyena in my ear over the phone. A simple, " It'll actually be an hour, we apologize for the wait," would have been perfectly acceptable. I think they need to train their staff on customer service because they're off in their own world doing their own thing more often than not while you stand at their window, waiting for your Rx. If I treated my patients the way you treated me and my family members, I'd be out of my MA job. Just something to think about.

I’m here now in the drive thru lane since this is one of the only pharmacies open this late (10:30 pm). The line hasn’t moved for the last 35 minutes. If this wasn’t my only option, I’d be gone and would never come back.
