Chief Joseph Park

Wonderfully developed. A real community treasure for kids and folk of all ages

It is very nice. It's quite if you don't mind listening to owls at night and Canadian geese in the morning. There's no hot water or showers available but bathrooms. For 12 dollars a night how can you go wrong. It's very well maintained. You have running water and choice of electricity. Some campsites have a table. Seems like you have to set your tent up in the gravel so you don't wake up surrounding in water since they are sloped the wrong way they don't have any flat surfaces to pitch a tent on.. But I love it very much. It seems to be on a trust system.

Very nice park very well maintained for a community park has some electrical hook ups and also semi private camp spots..they even cut some firewood for you.. great relaxing place

Great playground at this park for kiddos!

This was such a nice place to find in a small town. Pull thru spots with 50 amp. No water at site but close by. Nice picnic tables and fire rings. Very quiet and located in a city park. Honor system allows you to drop your $20 in a box.
