Brenda's first direction for my loved one was to sign up for medicaid and stop working then return to her for services. She defines enabling and will over medicate! Brenda will not stop there! She creates a wedge among her client and their support system. She needs her license revoked before someone gets hurt. Is there anyone from the State listening?

Brenda knows what she is doing. She is very non judgemental and intelligent. I haven't felt this good in years.

Brenda is one of the few doctors in Brookings who cares about her patients and continues to educate herself concerning her field of medicine. Most doctors don't care about how you feel and refuse to prescribe tests needed to identify root causes even if you ask for them.nnBrenda works with each patient as an individual to help them until they feel good, function and can do all of the things that they used to. This could be medication, therapy or finding treatment for the causes of depression. She is even helping my wife to diagnose and treat her Hashimoto's because low thyroid causes depression. Before her we hadn't been able to find a doctor who knew anything more about thyroid treatment than to run a TSH test and tell their patients that they were fine regardless of their symptoms and even if they were too sick to work. Many doctors get kickbacks for proscribing Synthroid so they refuse to give any sort of test which could prove that a patient's thryoid problem needs to be solved with a different medication.nnIn my opinion Brenda is one of the best practitioners in town and the negative reviews here were left by people who didn't actually get treatment from her.
