Lots of history, lots of rock climbers

Really surprising experience. We went for the NPS Stamp, and came away with so much more fun. What an experience the early travelers must have thought of this area of rock formations.

Good place to stop to get your information for the park and surrounding area.

Great place to camp. Soots are spaced apart with a lot of privacy. They are built right into the rocks. Only dirt roads in park and there was an afternoon shower so truck got muddy but still very accessible. We have a truck camper.

Great location to get information on the City of Rocks or make a reservation. They sell copies of the climbing book (if you are climbing, you should buy one).nnFor those people camping and wanting a break from the dirt of the city. This place has a grass lawn you can nap on, a place to refill your water (it tastes kinda weird) and a bathroom.nnVery friendly staff and they sell a collection city of rocks tourist stuff.
