City of Rocks RV

We loved our stay here. It was not very crowded and our spot was right next to the bathrooms and garbage cans. The bathrooms are vault-style, and they are hands down the nicest vault-style bathrooms I’ve ever seen. They don’t stink and they are well maintained and clean. You can tell that a lot of care was put into it- the decor of the bathrooms is really fun with with faux-wood wallpaper and antlers on the doors and as toilet paper holders. I have never before been so impressed by a campground bathroom!nThe owner was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. The site had electric and water hookups. It’s a dog-friendly campground, and there is a small enclosure meant for dogs to do their business, which is a fantastic idea, because my dog won’t go while on a leash.nMy only bit of feedback is that the sites could be more level.nWe will definitely stay again!

Very nice owners. They are doing a great job to get a great place for RVers. This is a great place to go to see the city of Rocks!

Nice new place to camp in a trailer or RV. There are also a few tent sites. Very close to city of rocks and extremely well kept bathrooms. Water and power hookups. Picnic tables and fire pits. Owner is very nice and accommodating.

We came to the City of Rocks to shoot the Milky Way as the location in the sky was perfect at this time of year. What we didn't know is that June is National Rock Climbing ‍ month. Soooooo there were zero spots available inside the park itself. After driving around for at least an hour and a half, we pulled into the RV Park to inquire about a spot and found they have 3 tent sites available! Score!!nThe location is just outside of the National Reserve and very new. They have running water spigots and a fire pit at each tent site and RV site. There are also 3 very nice and clean outhouses, with solar lights when you go at night.nThe scenery is just gorgeous!nThey also offer wood bundles for sale, in case you didn't bring enough.nThe man who runs is with his family is super friendly and on top of everyone who shows up, greeting them within the first 5 minutes of their arrival.nYou can check in online ahead of time, or just drive up. There are multiple ways to pay, one being Venmo, which I really appreciated because it is so easy.nThey have done a wonderful job setting this up. It is pretty and clean.

Incredibly nice host and proximity to the park is amazing. Great spot and easy to get our 38 ft rig in and out of the spot. We’ll be back again!
