In the spring of 1980, shortly after Beverly and I had moved back from Midland, TX my Grandmother died. Her funeral was in this building a few days before it was dedicated. This was the first time we had been in a chapel that had padded pews. We decided right then and there we were going to buy a home that would go to that building. Here we are over 40 years later in the same home.
