Fort Churchill State Monument

Educational experience and well done, but small museum. $5 entrance. Bathrooms available. To see the ruins up close, you have to walk in a loop (0.6 miles). The structures are all very similar. Nice place to visit once only if you're in the area.

Fort Churchill State Monument is a great state park and place to visit in the middle of the Nevada desert. There are a few trails, and multiple historical dirt/clay buildings from the previous military fort. Nearby is the Carson River with some great scenery and camp spots. Well worth a visit if in this area of Nevada.

This is a wonderful out of the way location along the pony Express route! The leaves are beautiful in the fall and the campground is very nice

Very great place to visit very accessible to the public and well-maintained. It's beautiful and full of Nevada history. We can't forget our history especially in times like these.
