Dayton State Park

The most interesting part of the park is the old gold mill but it is on the opposite side of the highway from the parking area. The pedestrian tunnel under the highway was an inch deep with water so we drove to the other side of the highway and walked from there.

Small and clean park. Carry a pen, you will need it. Dogs must be on leash. Very quiet and nice place

Great for small walks and exploring not very challenging but lots to uncover

Nice local park. Clean with a few trails. Lots of parking, right off the highway.

Though there are no hook ups there are nice trees and trails to hike.nMy great nephew and I hiked up to the Rock Point Mill.nnPS...the dump station hasn't been open for over a year. They have a sign on its gate stating to go the Maverick Gas Station west of here. They have one.
