Great water, friendly staff, don’t forget to get a fishing license before going :)
Great motorcycle loop ride.
Just northeast of Farmington/Bloomfield, Navajo Lake is just 3 1/2 hours from Albuquerque. Its one of New Mexico's largest lakes. Albeit man made.nGreat camping, fishing and hiking. Although Covid-19 has impacted most activities there, I spent a great day of snagging out there on October 20th with my son and conpadre. We all caught our limit and were back on yhe road by 1:30pm. The quality waters below the damn are world famous for trout. Very nice lake, indeed!
We consider Navajo Lake our home away from home. The campsites are always clean and we always catch big fish from our boat.
Very pretty lake. We stopped for a quick visit but lots of people were enjoying their time on the water.
