If the grill is open treat yourself to a Cheeseburger Deluxe with Diced Green Chilis. That was the best cheeseburger this side of Big Burger World in Canon City.
Great safe place to park a truck overnight. Place is clean, quiet, new and has a good quality and reasonably priced grill. Fare is your basic hamburgers and the like, but that is not a bad thing. And while they dont accept EFS fuel cards currently they are in the process of getting that added to their machines, which will make this place even better. One of the very few rural truckstops ive been to that deserves a 5 star.
Digging dino pays 20 cent gas discounts. They have a to-go restaurant that makes bomb breakfast tacos, taquitos, burgers and fries. They have good tasting coffee and I'm stuck on the Popc☆rn Indiana they sell. The attendants are always very kind and the facilities are clean. There is not another gas station until 15 miles up the road in La Jara, so fill up if you're just coming in from NM and get the dinopay app for gas savings.
Perfect place to fill up prior to leaving the Cumbres & Toltec Railway to get back home! New gas station and extremely clean facility! Easy to pull in and pull out without being on top of other customers.
A new gas station the only one for 60 miles if your traveling from New Mexico. Good selection of food and drinks and the home made food smells delicious. Friendly owners and great employees.
