This place has so many trails!!! It's beautiful. The visited center has been well curated and is clean. This is a great spot to spend a day.

Amazing views and the little chapel + other wooden constructions in the middle of nowhere are worth the visit.

As of 3/26/21 you must make a reservation online to hike. The chimney rock trail is well worth it and only 1 - 1.5 hrs round trip.

Ghost Ranch is the Movie location of City Slickers with Billy Crystal. The drive to the ranch and landscape is beautiful. They still have buildings up that were built for the movie. We did not take the tour (covid) as it was once the home of Georgia O’Keeffe. It was worth the drive and we are glad we added it to our Santa Fe trip.

See every star visible in the night sky... then entire Milky Way gallery....it will make you dizzy. Rustic amnesties but worth it!!
