Great customer service.... There are more outages with the electricity then I have experienced. When there is a outage however, Jemez Electric are quick to restoring the power back on for us as a community, city and rural areas. I recently exsprienced a outage and called Jemez electric at 2:00 am and left a message to report the outage in Truchas N.M, they got back with me immediately to let me know they will be working on it. I can never get answers to way my bill is so high. Especially when no one was living there. I get even higher bills when there are power outages, which I understand can happen. but it's way to often. When I've called I would get transferred to someone who then transfers me to a someone else but it always goes to voicemail to someone that never calls back. I've tried several times to inform them I live within the reservation and I'm exempt from the state tax, but they continue to charge it. I do admit I'm late on payments however most of the time the bill is over $250 which is allot for a single parent in a small home, but I always pay even though it's incorrect. I don't want to forget to mention the horrible buzzing sound that keeps getting louder coming from their substation. There are some professional employee's and a few unprofessional, one in particular..
