I had an appointment at 10:00 for a colonoscopy; I was the last patient out at 4:30. Dr. Rideout prescribed Protonex. I asked about it leaching your bones. His comment was: “At your age, why would it matter.” At a later date my husband had an appointment to see Dr. Rideout. When we got there, he was told the doctor wasn’t in the office during the week, so he had to see a Nurse practitioner. The office personnel had not bothered to call ahead of time to let us know that the doctor was not in. My husband had a follow up appointment with Dr. Rideout. When we got there, we were told that as of the first of the year they were no longer accepting our insurance. The round trip to their office is 144 miles. Every visit has been a bad experience. The incompetence and total lack of concern has been very disappointing.

I met Dr. Rideout a couple years ago and he's the only person let alone doctor that assured me i wasnt going crazy with my symptoms and issues and reassured me that we would figure out what was going on. Im looking forward to seeing him and his staff again, they're awesome and so compassionate. Thank you.

Never saw the doctor just his assistant. They didn't offer any help for my issues.

I have had two colonoscopies by Dr. Ridout and he is pretty great. No drama, no hassles, it was painless and very easy. When I need my next one in five years I will definitely go see him again. Very professional and efficient.
