This place was amazing! I just went for my first time and was thoroughly impressed with their level of professionalism, but equally matched level of genuine care. Very clean, quiet, and calm. They have different things to choose from to make you more relaxed or comfortable. Overall, very happy with my experience here! Will be recommending to friends and family.

I highly recommend Mountain Ridge Dentistry. Their customer service was amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. My daughters both had positive experiences. Last week when I called Mountain Ridge with a problem tooth I got an appointment in THIRTY MINUTES. I was thrilled. The x-ray which was displayed right in front of me on the screen indicated that I needed to have the tooth pulled and Dr. DePorter said he could do it immediately if I wished. I said go for it. No pain - if you can believe it! It's true!! Laura, the assistant, and all the staff were very kind and welcoming. The facility has all the high technology dentistry now provides. I highly recommend Mountain Ridge Dentistry for all your dental needs.

Since I no longer commute to Fort Collins, I decided to look for a local dentist and I'm sure glad I decided to go with Dr. DePorter and the Mountain Ridge team. I was warmly welcomed at the front desk and felt comfortable despite some trepidation about being seen during the pandemic. Kelly, my hygienist, struck the perfect balance between chatting (with me), providing relevant/interesting information, and getting the job done. It's the first time I've ever requested to have the same hygienist in future appointments. Dr. DePorter was down to earth and easy to talk to. As someone who has struggled with a fear of the dentist since childhood, I can attest that the team at Mountain Ridge work hard to provide a comfortable atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff. If you're looking for a new dentist, seriously don't hesitate to call them up.

I just moved to Berthoud a couple of years ago and I wanted to find a good dentist near my home. I have phobias about seeing a dentist so finding the right dentist was an important consideration for me. I decided to check out Mountain ridge dentistry because it was just a mile away from me and they accepted my dental insurance. I needed deep cleaning (haven't been to a dentist in years) and I had a cavity bigger than the grand canyon. I thought the tooth would have to be extracted for sure.nnDr. Porter suggested that I visit an endodontist to evaluate the tooth to see if it can be saved with a root canal. Oh my, I thought, that sounds scary. I was already nervous about dentists, and now a root canal! Dr. Porter prefers to try to save a tooth before considering an extraction.nnThe root canal procedure went very well. I took some medication for light sedation. The Dr. got it done in one visit. Thank God.nnAfter the root canal Dr. Porter cleaned up the tooth and prepared it for the temporary cap. He was extremely meticulous. I think a meticulous dentist is definitely a good thing. He wanted to make sure the tooth was properly prepared to both fit the new cap and fit properly to prevent any bacteria from infecting the tooth again. He did all this without sacrificing my comfort. We did the procedure without any sedation. I am gad I didn't need it. After he prepped the tooth he installed the temporary cap to wear while I waited for the permanent cap to arrive.nnWhen the new cap arrived Dr. Porter and his meticulous assistant carefully installed the new cap. They kept fitting and adjusting it until it fit perfectly. Its been a few weeks and the cap has caused no problems. It fits like my natural teeth. My bite is perfect.nnLater I had the deep cleaning procedure done by an excellent dental hygienist. She was efficient and meticulous.nnLong story short: Dr. Porter and his staff are courteous, patient, and kind perfectionists.
