Dillon Ranger Station

The staff of the Dillon Ranger District of the White River National Forest exhibit a level of dedication and commitment to the conservation and management of our forest lands that goes above and beyond their scope of duties. For several years, the staff have taken time out of their busy schedules to meet with courses that I teach at Colorado Mountain College. They have provided insight into everything from leadership topics, to wilderness ethic, to career guidance, to updates on wildlife issues, to promotion of local issues and awareness. Cindy Ebbert, Recreation Ranger, and Ashley Nettles, Wildlife Biologist, have been instrumental in scheduling these events and for meeting with us many times each. All of the staff at the district demonstrate dedication and commitment to making the USFS a prosperous and accessible organization for every community member.

I would like to insult the Dillon Ranger Dist. for approving Peak 6 construction. Not only is your office full of fools that don't belong managing the wilderness, but you hired absolutely incompetant morons for your hydro project. When you actually have people working out of your office that are wilderness experienced then maybe something worthwhile will get done there. But since you like to hire suburanite know it all assholes, I guess we just lost Peak 6. Thanks for the diservice - Forest Diservice.
