Great Dr.'s and awesome PA. 100% recommend this office to anyone looking for a new Dr.

Really put off. Called to make an appointment when they said they were taking new people but when I say I did not care which dr that I needed to get in, the secretary snapped at me. Excuse me Sweety, I hire your practice and I have excellent health care. Remember who hires you! So I will go elsewhere. Bad first impression was the last!

The staff at First Street has always been very courteous and professional towards my family. The patient portal has been an especially effective way to communicate and get a quick response back from the doctors there.

It started when I walked in the front door. An elderly gentleman was complaining that he would not be fasting again, because they lost his blood work. I felt bad as he complained to his wife, “This place is worse than the V.A.,” as they walked out the door. I then started filling out my paperwork; I was at First Street to be seen for a workers comp claim. I was there to get a referral to a dentist. I was seen. On my way out, I was headed back to work mind you, I was informed that I was not given an entire packet that I should have been given when I arrived to fill out & that I would need to sit down and fill it out right then and there. I told them I no longer had time for that. I was handed the packet to take with me & scolded that I had (emphasis on these next words) better bring it back to my follow up appointment, as though it were my fault that the front desk did not do their job. I smiled, took the packet and left. I was supposed to get a call from them within a couple of days with my referral. Nothing. No call. I called them. I was told the referral specialist was out & she’d have to call me back. A week later I finally actually got the referral specialist on the phone & she told me she’d never received a request for a referral for me. Another week later & I find out that my referral request had been lost. A week later & I get a phone call telling me to rest assured, they were working on getting me a referral. Today I called, because, still, I had heard nothing. I was greeted with a gasp from the referral specialist, “I didn’t call you yesterday!” Well, duh! Anyways, I finally—a month after my initial visit—have gotten a number for a dentist that they aren’t sure whether my worker’s comp insurance will cover or not. Before I wrote this review they only had two stars. Looks like they’d be overhauling their staff and trying to get their act together if they wanted to stay open. I’m not sure what the V.A. is like, but it’s got to be better than nothing, which is what I’ve received from First Street. Don’t waste your time at this place.

I'm writing because I want to counterbalance these bad reviews with a sterling one. My wife, mother-in-law and I have been patients here for around 10 years now, and we can't speak highly enough of the doctors, PAs, nurses and staff we've encountered. We feel so fortunate to find such professionals in our rather out-of-the-way place. A special shout-out to Doctors Grant-Nierman and Lombardo and their wonderful assistants and Jennifer Lee, PA.
