I could drop everything and move to this town. Bueno Vista was a few mile away which is another carefree, out of the big city kinda of getaway place. The mountains are breath taking. Plenty of hiking ,nature trails and camping sites. Be sure to purchase your disposable oxygen if you're not from the mountains because Smoky Bear might smoke you.ud83dude01

Special shout out to H. Fuller and receptionist. Ranger Fuller was out patrolling and stopped by our site to check on us and chatted for a bit. She was very nice and gave us recommendations for additional four wheeling spots. When we left I forgot my phone at our camp spot, she went above and beyond, drove out to our spot and retrieved my phone and mailed it to me.

I love National Forest, a great place for disperse camping.

The office has been hosting a type 3 fire mgt team and has been very accommodating
