I have been going to the Post Office frequently over the past few years in particular because I ship off my own products from here. The staff has been extraordinarily kind each and every time that I have come here. They are apologetic if the wait time is longer than usual, despite having essentially zero control over that factor. Today in particular, I came by to just drop off a package, and a woman saw me not wanting to squeeze by people and grabbed it for me. I hope she, and the other wonderful workers here, see this and know that they are appreciated!
First time shipping something out and both ladies were mega helpful, patient and understanding of my lack of experience and knowledge. Shared a few laughs. Definitely happy with my experience here.
I have nothing but problems with this post office/ mail carriers. When I first became a resident of Highland last year they didn’t deliver my mail for 2 and a half weeks straight for no reason. Nothing was blocking the mailbox (or even near it), I called and complained. My mail still wasn’t delivered. I called back a few days later and asked to talk to a manager and they said they would come out to meet with us and never did. He stated that the mail carriers are not required to get out of the vehicle if a car is in the way. Parking is scarce on our block so we have to park near( not blocking, at least 4 to 5 feet away) our mailbox or else someone will completely block it.nAnyways, We called again and the manager said, “ this week for sure I’ll come out to you”. Never came. We lived in our home for about 8 months and haven’t been deliver to at least a dozen times or more. I’ve witnessed the mail carrier drive by our house with out delivering mail and honk while passing by many times. Our neighbors have the same problem and have now resulted in having their mail delivered to a family members home. It is ridiculous.
Very friendly and inviting environment - never had any trouble.
Highland USPS always has very courteous employees at the front counter, even when the patron is upset with their own situation. They take time to explain requirements for mailing various types of packages, as needed, and offer recommendations to mail particular items in more appropriate packaging. When the line gets long, they call an employee from the back to come up front to help. Certain hours are busier than others, so show a little patience. It's a great virtue!
