A friendly oasis! I love this place, and all the care and creativity that goes on inside it. Leaf really cares about comics, his customers, and supporting local art talent. The selection is really solid and it's just nice in general to have a comic book store in the Mission.
One of the true GEMS of San Diego, offering art classes for all ages - specializing in comic book art/ cartooning/ sequential art/ pop culture/ fine art/ art history/ the performing arts - including theater, from local plays to San Diego Opera. An intense appreciation of the Arts throughout San Diego County, blended with knowledgeable + talented staff that encourage learning not only the skills to become a better & more confident artists, but more well-rounded & capable people as well. I simply can't praise enough what Little Fish has accomplished & continue to achieve as a contributing part of our community & culture! 5 STARS! :)
Finally a place where you can learn something new and fun without Finals or Grades! Instructors Love what they do and it shows through their work and motivation to help you with your work which motivates you to drive on!
