Dive bar extraordinaire! Used to be a lovable 2 star dive bar until the new owner re-did the place. Now people aren't scared to use the bathroom anymore and they've never really lost that cool vibe. Strangers and regulars both feel welcome.

Some nights are super lively. Been a few times. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. Once I came very late and my drink was an end of the night variety. My fiance kindly told the bartender for $30 (we ordered an Adios each) we should taste more than just mixer in our drinks. The bartender obliged and really ampd our drinks up a few notches. That was great. Overall it's always an interesting mix of people. Good music. Love the chalkboard wall near the bathroom. Fun, local La Mesa Bar that makes me want to binge watch Shameless.

Fun place to go after hours. Legit hip hop, pretty cheap drinks, super busy that the bartenders can’t really keep up. Super hot with limited air flow. But cool place
