Beer was good and I like the outdoor experience, but my CAUTION is that the last time I was here when they set me up for a tab they ended up charging me TWICE. Once for the full amount prior to the tip and once for the full amount plus the tip...! And it has been two weeks this is not a pending transaction issue.
Went to Bolt a couple weeks ago for the first time in a year. Wasn’t a fan of their beer before, but it seems like they have really improved! I loved their double IPA, and wish we could have stayed longer to have another. Unfortunately, the bartender wasn’t enforcing the mask rules. There are signs that say you need to wear a mask, but he wasn’t enforcing it. We were the only table there for about half an hour, then a large group (probably 10-12 people) come in and aren’t wearing masks.nI understand you don’t need to wear a mask at your table, but they were ordering from the bar without a mask, and walking around without one too. The bartender didn’t enforce it, and was often seen with his mask under his nose.nMy husband is diabetic, so when we go out, it’s usually outdoor spots- less risky. I’m disappointed that Bolt didn’t take this seriously, and unfortunately will not be back until Covid is over. It’s a bummer because their beer is so good!
Great atmosphere, I very much appreciate you hosting Howler, the band, multiple times already. I will show up relentlessly, as long as they do as well. Thank you for supporting local music.
Was a great time. Amazing outdoor lawn style seating. Great beer brewed on site.
Highly adequate. Far greater than than the pretensions of Sour Worx- a nearby competitor. Their brews were amicable and original. The fruitful notes were especially sublime. The tacos required by the state of California during the covid restrictions were reasonably priced and delicious. People who drink should find themselves delighted.
