The Akron Summit County Library has a huge selection of books, magazines, research materials, kids books, community events, and services they offer. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The library is quiet and comfortable. I needed two color copies made...computer was not cooperating. I asked for help from one of the employees...don't know her name, but she was simply WONDERFUL!! SO NICE, and she spent as much time as was needed to figure out the problem and get me my copies. SOOO NICE! Thank you!

They take too long to rent a book, and they don't have too many books to begin with, which means they need to rent it from another library, which only increases waiting time.nAlso, I'm fine with wearing a mask, but they mandate it, even if you're the only one at a table, far away from anyone else.
I was just sent away from the doors and told that the hours from 10:00-11:00 were for vulnerable people. Without ever asking or assuming that my daughter and I could be vulnerable as well. Now my 5 year old is crying on our way home. There was also not a single car in the parking lot.
