Very knowledgeable and caring therapists. This is also a safe, friendly and comfortable place to workout.

I had rotator cuff surgery by Dr. Blake of Omni Orthopaedics on October 1, 2018 and went to Concorde Therapy of Hartville. I was a patient of Laura Mason a Physical Therapist at Concorde of Hartville, starting on October 25, 2018. The therapy I received by Laura Mason was very poor, nothing was ever made very clear from what was occurring with my shoulder getting stiffer and harder to move, it was in the process of freezing up, I was the patient I had no idea what was happening. I continued to have pain from my shoulder freezing up, not from anything I was doing or not doing, because I was doing everything I was told to do, I was the patient, I was never given any pictures of exercises or how many exercises to perform at home until January 4th, 2019. I was seen on January 3 by Sue Dempsey and at that time, I was told by Sue Dempsey that I needed a new therapist, my shoulder was completely frozen. A change was made in my Physical Therapist. Sue Dempsey made Jeff Reale aware of the situation, I was not allowed to be seen by Laura Mason anymore. At that point it use less my shoulder was completely froze. Aggressive Physical Therapy was done by several therapists at Concorde in Hartville, which made my shoulder freeze up even more. My arm would hang off the side and they would hit it with their hips, which was extremely painful and the therapists would pull on my shoulder, push down on it to get it become unfrozen. I was seen by Dr. Hellmann of Omni Orthopaedics for a second opinion as to what could be done for a frozen shoulder, Dr. Hellmann said I needed a closed end manipulation, which is where they tear your arm tissue and scar tissue that has formed since the surgery literally apart. I have had to have arthroscopic surgery to repair the damage that was done as a result of not the best physical therapy being performed in the beginning and an overly aggressive manipulation having to be performed what follows are the injuries that resulted: extensive tearing of the anterior, superior, and posterior aspects of the labrum, significant tearing of the bicep tendon, multiple loose intra-articular sutures had to be removed, which means my inside sutures were literally ripped out, tears of the bursal side of the supraspinatus and subscapularis tendon were found to be present. The injuries I first went in for on October 1, 2018 by Dr. Blake were a full thickness tear of the supraspinatus and some labrum fraying. My shoulder was frozen, I didn't do these injuries to myself.
