The facilities are clean and in good repair. The signage is informative and well-placed. The trees in the parking lot are shapely and tall. The accesses to the trails are well-kept and well-marked. The proximity to different trails is appreciated. The park is the best in the region. What is not to love?
Solid parking here. Bathrooms are clean. Probably the best spot to park for hiking, biking or skating most of the longer oak openings trails.

Well tended clean and has plenty of parking for people that don't live close to access the Wabash Cannonball (north branch) bike and pedestrian nature trails
This is the trail head for both the Mountain bike trail and the 16 mile Scout trail. The restrooms here are clean and you have access to a drinking fountain except the last time I used it the water was a bit meh tasting. There is a cool green pond and picnic tables off in the shade. A bike maintenance station is nearby along as a connection point to the Wabash trail. About a mile west on the Wabash from here is where the paved trail ends. To access the trailhead for the scout and mtn bike trail just cross the street and walk/ride down the Wabash trail headed east for .20 miles and there are sign posts with markings.
