Anthony Visitor Information Center

This is a rest area, and it's not obvious on Google maps if you search "rest area". Maybe DOT definitions are more niche, but the things that make a good rest area - privacy, clean bathrooms, an uncrowded parking lot, this place has. I like the historical signs they have out front giving you some local information, so its not just a place to stop and stretch your legs but also a place to actually learn something.

Clean.

A very clean, well maintained, rest stop with clean restrooms. Well lit at night, safe, with video cameras on the premises. Plenty of parking spaces for Rvs, 18 wheelers and cars. At least 5 handicapped ♿ spaces close to the restrooms.

Beware of snakes. Needed to have someone pick up trash outside. Nice area and plenty of space to walk. Bathrooms were clean.

I used to live inside of this rest area. I actually loved it the people here are very friendly and easy to get to know. And they treat a minority just like they do family awesome place
