David G. Nesler Painting

We hired David Nessler to paint our kitchen cabinets, laundry room cabinets, crown molding white as well as the knule posts on our staircase. I would like to point out that David does Not paint the cabinets, he calls around and contracts it out which is why it is double the cost of what we have paid in the past. The laundry room was hand painted since we did not pay extra to spray them. The painter got the paint on the walls and there were finger prints and smudges in the paint. He didn't tape or even put down a drop cloth. It had to be redone a couple times. Then in the kitchen, not only did they ruin the finish on our hardwood floors when pulling up their tape, the finish on the cabinet doors is not the same as the sample door he originally brought us. It's a matte paint and everything that touches them stains them and you can't get it off. You can also see where the cabinet doors were over sanded in some areas and are wavy. We have been trying to contact him to not only address these issues but to finish the job and he has fallen off the face of the earth. We still have filler all over our crown molding and they just never came back to sand and paint. This is the third kitchen we have had painted, the first two were done in St Louis and turned out beautifully, so I know it's possible to get a nice finish with the Sherwin Williams paint.
