Really good environment! All the students very professional. Super clean and they meet all the criteria for covid 19
Just starting program. Looks like the money is going into the new health professions building. Negative is not any charging ports, wireless charging stations for phones, laptops etc. Not many places to hang out, pool table like at Weber, etc. Feels a bit like high school. Bummer the high school students go free but adults have to pay. Think it makes it easier for them to not treat it as seriously. Definite commuter campus feel. Would be great if they had a soccer team, some events to increase school pride and a sense of community. Perhaps some community outreach where students use their new skills to help out HUD housing, etc.
I graduated from the Surgical Tech program about 4 years ago. It was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love and am passionate about my job. Leah the program director is amazing and really prepared me to be successful in my career. I would recommend this program to anyone. They are still heavily involved in the field and keep up with the ever changing demands of the OR, you cant find that anywhere else.
Also has sprinklers on there. Anytime of the day you will have that problem. The grass is super long and always soaked
It has a lot to offer for a technical college.
