Prepare to pay $275 for speeding ticket if its reduced to parking violation. Bring cash/money order as they dont accept debit or credit. If you pay online, it's an additional $12.nnThe town website doesnt always work and they dont return your calls. They only work 9am-1pm or have other bizarre working hours. The town court wont always notify you if they cancel pre-trial and they wont apologize for it either. So you end up driving there and wasting your time. They dont care if you have to take time off and come on another work day.nnIn addition, if you're from the area or know the judge/prosecutor then they're very chipper to speak to you and pretty much let you go...so much for being morally just.

Corrupt little s**t town which only BORDERS the Taconic parkway...where they run constant speed traps on their 1 mile section of road to gouge tourists for money. Smallest offense will net them $250 +. Heroes in Blue saving lives and keeping us all safe - right!
