Gorgeous campus for a peaceful stroll. A few gentle hills and plenty of beauty all around. If you are visiting and want to explore, you cannot go wrong with an aimless meander. Many excellent food and shopping choices in town. Definitely one of the most beautiful American college campuses.
As a Princeton alumnus who lives only a few miles away, I am a frequent visitor to the campus. This spring day my wife and I went solely to bask in the awakening beauty of Prospect Garden. The entire campus is beautiful, though, and open to anyone to visit and explore. Keep an eye out for its many sculptures, some hidden from casual viewing. And revel in the original Collegiate Gothic architecture throughout the campus.
My first glimpse at this building gave me the impression that it was a castle built for sieges or ruled by a noble family. Far from the truth was I, since this University is home to some of the finest minds and for the past 250 years has produced a great number of fine scholars. Buy yourself a ticket to a college basketball or football to understand how amazing these athletes are.
Beautiful campus. Superb architecture. Historical and magnificent structures. Clean and peaceful. Ample visitor parking. Great vibe inside the campus. Great to visit for a walk on weekends.
