I worked in this Library when I was at Princeton, and considered it a greater privilege than working for the University. The undulating architecture dances, thanks to Frank Gehry, the celebrated architectural ballet artist once sued for the way his iconic undulating reflective metal forms blinded traffic. There were no such issues at Princeton. Lewis is named for Peter B. Lewis, who is a major benefactor to the University. It has one of my favorite sculptures in the space behind it, Richard Serra's Fox and Hedgehog, a playful hide and seek piece on a campus known for it's collection. Even though I did not always enjoy going to work there, I always will love that building, and the learning spaces and services were outstanding.

I was in Princeton, on Saturday, 11/05, to have lunch with my wife, and my son who works in Princeton. My wife and I walked all over the campus waiting to meet him, at 1 pm.nWe strolled up to the entrance to the library, on the inner side of the building, away from Nassau St. On the information board outside where the hours and communications are posted, there was a notice about the previous week and current one, dating up to Nov.6th.nIn a prior job, I was a proof reader. Much to my shock, the notice on the board stated that the school was in Fall Reccess.
