Princeton Courts and Violation

Ticketed for a license plate light being out, given no warning and I didn't know. Harassed by being stopped twice following in this town. They are acting hard up for cash and hurting hardworking people.

Left my car in parking lot over time 10 minutes, got a parking ticket. Friend's car parked right beside me didn't even paid for the hours, didn't get ticket. If you trying to fine people, maybe you should at least treat every car the same

Was in Princeton to try to earn a little extra cash by dropping clothes off at a consignment shop. My friend followed me in her car and both of us parked on the street. The metered system for paying to park is outdated and will only accept quarters. Neither of us had even one quarter. We foolishly left the car to try to get change and in less than 5 min we both were ticketed. Forty each as a penalty for trying to get change for an outdated meter is outrageous. I care for elderly parents and am unable to attend court to fight this. Princeton got 40 dollars from me but they won't get another cent. They fail to realize that by doing this they discourage people from frequenting the businesses in the area. This hurts their bottom line eventually and must really impact the owners of these businesses I will never go to this town again if i can help it

Parking ticket for first offense was 40 dollars. They charge 1.75 and hour for parking even on Sundays. What a joke!

The Princeton Gestapo - This is an unfriendly place to live and do businessnnThe level of enforcement for minor infrigements is enough to signal that this town is either in dire financial straits or just doesn't want you here. Friends have gotten ticketed before pedestrians are actually in the crosswalk, 4 days expired vehicle registration, stop for 3 minutes across from Starbucks where they know people park just to run in for coffee, etc.nI won;t pull my kids out of school, but I've been thinking about moving the business... this place just sends the wrong message.
