No pressure sales from any of the staff. Met with Demetri on our first visit; he answered all our questions, pointed where to go and was extremely helpful. After we chose a couple bedroom sets to compare and consider (all great quality and beautiful design), we went through the mattresses and explained what we wanted. Demetri pointed out the benefits of the different options and helped us pick out the best one. Ultimately did not purchase the bedroom set at Ashbrook, but returned this morning to purchase mattress sets.nAgain, Demetri had us verify and lay on the one we had previously chosen, explained the benefits, helped with the mattress cover and a new pillow.nAs we decorate the house, we will be back to see Demetri and get his opinions.
My wife and I visited Ashbrook Furniture the weekend of Black Friday. My wife had found a bedroom set she liked and wanted at another store which we went an looked at. The wait time was a minimum of 16 weeks, so we decided to look elsewhere. We wound up at Ashbrook and found the identical set, but the wait time was the same. Realizing we would wait no matter where we went, we inquired about the set and asked for a price. The price came back a couple of hundred more than the price we were given at the other store, but Ashbrook matched the price and matched the free threshold delivery. The experience was very pleasant, they treated us fairly and by matching everything from the other store, meant we didn't have to drive back to the previous shop to get what we wanted. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that I would have liked Ashbrook, knowing about the other store and their price (they verified the other price), to be a bit more aggressive in beating the competition. Convenience is really the only reason for purchasing at Ashbrook as apposed to the other store. I would have liked to say Ashbrook really gave me a better price over the competition, but they didn't. Very nice store, pleasant people working there and they price matched.
I don’t generally review. But I must say that my initial experience with this store was great since then it has been nothing but a headache. We ordered furniture (2 different sets of items). We were told for one 4 - 8 weeks and the other 8 - 12. In October. Ok no problem. Then when we were coming up on the delivery date for the first one - the 8 weeks - no word. So we called. Now we are looking at last week of December and first week of January. Now we are end of December. We call. We get a call back and now it is Feb and March. I understand there is a large delay on shipments of all kinds but the lack of customer service and lack of taking the time to initiate the call is beyond disappointing. They clearly do not care about customer service once you leave the store and aren’t looking for repeat customers. They should have told us up front or at least had the decency to take the initiative to call us once they knew there was a problem. We are not unreasonable and a little bit of time to call would have gone a long way.
Gamal is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He was not pushy. We we're lucky to have him as a salesman! I highly recommend him for your furniture needs! ud83dude01
Casey P. was pleasant to work with. She took the extra time to make sure the chair I was purchasing was the right one for me and that it was more readily available as I do it need sooner than later.
