If I could give them a negative star review I would. In all fairness, I never even saw a Dr. My PCP gave me a referral to this endo because of bloodwork and obvious thyroid disfunction (swelling so bad I can't breathe or swallow at times). The girl that answered the phone REFUSED to give me an appointment. She flat out said NO that she needed other labs, as if the referral from my PCP wasn't enough. Mind you, I had done bloodwork with my PCP on top of very obvious, visual thyroid swelling. SHE REFUSED to make me an appointment to see the endo. This girl hardly cared about my health. AVOID AT ALL COSTS . The girls answering the phones are in desperate need of training and or a little common sense. There is a reason this place has such bad reviews.

I had an appointment with “doctor” Ashraf a little over a year ago (first endo appointment ever) she was in the room for approximately 3 minutes telling me I had nothing wrong with my thyroid (She ran no tests, I have hyperthyroidism, which another doctor was able to diagnose. Also, my grandmother has had both sides of her thyroid removed due to cancer) before literally walking out of the room and saying nothing for over 10 minutes (I was waiting in the room with my cousin who witnessed this as well) I eventually ended up walking out as I never saw the doctor come back. It’s taken me quite a while to talk about this, I’ve genuinely never felt so disrespected by a medical “professional” before. If you go here and feel like you’re not getting proper care, there ARE better endos out there!

I called the pharmacy for my insulin days ago and as of a couple of days ago it had not been filled. I called them today and they said the doctor's office has still not sent in the order. I called the Endocrinology department today and found they haven't sent in my order. This was at noon and told them I finally ran out of insulin yesterday. The nurse said they would call in my prescription which was 2 hours ago at this point of the day. They did not. I was on the phone back and forth 4 times with the pharmacy and the nurse at Elliot. With 45 minutes left in their work day for Elliot Endocrinology I called again since the pharmacy still didn't have the order. They basically said too bad it might get filled tomorrow. I gave them 1 star because I can't give them a zero. Thanks a lot Elliot Endocrinology.
