The entire Diabetes Care Center team has been a God send for me. Prior to being sent to them, I was misdiagnosed as a type 2 diabetic and had been subjected to multiple forms of treatment to no avail. My numbers were getting worse and my prior doctor didn’t seem to think anything of it. After meeting with Mayda Zimmerman, tests were ordered because she had a hunch I was type 1. She was correct, and started me on the correct treatment plan. I have received guidance from this team at every step of the way. From diet plans to pump training, they haven’t missed a beat. My A1C went from 10 to 6 and this team deserves all of the credit. I highly recommend visiting the Diabetes Care Center if you are not happy with your current diabetes management. They are excellent at what they do.
