This mall is always so clean. We love the arcade place and all the food choices. If you aren't from Lincoln, make this a stop, and don't forget to get your cookie downstairs!!!

The golden era of the mall has ended. What was once the place to be for shopping and walking has become a place for just walking. This is a beautiful mall; unfortunately the cost of rent and the lack of shoppers is likely taking its toll. Lots of unrented boxes and the loss of two anchor stores must be a challenge for this mall. Enjoy it while it lasts.

If you wanna close at 7pm on weekdays, that’s fine. But if all your employees are going to be collectively rude starting at 6pm, I feel like there no point in even being open then.

I grew up in Lincoln and this was always one of the best time passer places to go. Over the years, with online shopping, natural progression has shown strong signs of phasing out the mall scene, Gateway is no exception. Sears and JCPenney wing have nearly nothing appealing in them. Lots and lots of empty space in these areas. By Dillards and the foot court is where most of the more lucrative stores are, thus it’s much busier in that area. The food court is showing signs of demise with unknown food vendors that often have no customers or empty spaces, again just showing more definitive signs that in a short matter of time, malls will be a thing of the past. I was glad to see how busy Gateway was today however with more people the social distancing spaces between each of was were nearly non existent. My family and I decided to grab a snack while shopping. The lines were long at places such as Panda Express and Firestone pizza. Once we got through the food line, we were tasked with attempting to find seating. The tables that weren’t full were filthy. Lots of food/trashed lined the floors. We finally found a table, still filthy but cleaner than any others we had passed. After we ate we had to visit the restroom before heading out, much like the food court it too was not well sanitized, and during a still an active pandemic. I likely will steer clear of Gateway as much as possible for future.
