Parkhaus Apartments

Love Parkhaus!!! Best apartment I’ve ever stayed in, was here for 3 years. Amazing location. No issues with bugs/utilities not working. Timely on maintenance requests. Leasing office is very friendly! In unit washer/dryer and dishwasher. Felt pretty safe here, but security could be better at night. Only downside was loud neighbors, small fitness room, and cost of rent. Would still highly recommend!

I go here to visit my friends. The place is secure and has security officers that are always walking through the building. Makes you feel safe. Some people get out of control but quickly handled. The management is great, they have let me participate in events they have there. I would highly recommend Parkhaus

Worst management of a property I have ever seen. You’ll be fined for anything you do that they can fine you for. We just received a fine for having more than 10 people in our room. Once you host one event they target your room to get as much money as they can out of you. The maintenance man is the greatest part of living here along with the location. Besides that there’s no garbage disposals in your sink, the windows don’t open at all, the property is put together in a cheap way so things break and then you get fined for them. DON’T LIVE HERE

I've lived here for 9 months now. It's a fairly decent apartment, priced closed to or below their competitors. I am in a 4 bedroom option.nnPros:n- Affordable compared to campus housingn- Is right next to campus, closer to my classes than university housing.n- Right above a good number of food options, and not far from the Haymarket.n- Comes with a full sized kitchen and a large enough fridge/freezer, as well as dishwashern- Own washer and dryern- Many room options, but the 4 bedroom comes with a decent living room and 4 sinks as well as 2 bathroom/showers.n- Ceilings high enough to allow for a bunk.n- Good maintainance guys that will help keep your place from falling apartn- Great and kind staff that give constant reminds so you don't forget when rent is due, etc. They also host events and give out food which is nice.n- Has a roommate matching system, albeit not the best one.n- Wifi, water, gas, and $40 of electricity included.n- Outdoor roof top area with grillsn- Gym with plenty of equipmentn- A study room on every floor with a printernnCons:n- Loud neighbors that like to party on the weekendsn- Not much is always done to keep neighbors quieter, although a hefty fine is incurred on those that don't comply after being asked to quiet down (doesn't really stop them tho, but has gotten the police called before)n- Bedrooms (at least in 4 bedroom) are small, roughly half the size of a standard bedroom.n- Windows don't open (at least not on the balcony version).n- No pets allowed (exceptions are made)n- Wifi is slow and is prone to dropouts sometimes and has high latency, so not the best if you like to game.n- Walls are a little thin, so it's not hard to hear what your roommates are doing, especially in the common areas.n- Since electric is only covered to $40, can get pricy during the summer months if you like it coldnnNotes:n- Experience highly dependent on the neighbors and roommatesn- Furniture, other than bar stools and a kitchen table, is not includedn- Outdoor roof top area doesn't have the best shrubbery, could definitely use some nice landscaping renovations.n- Grills aren't in the best shape.n- Electricity is not included, so it's payed separately to the main rent billn- Reserved parking, but not included, is $80 a month or so currentlynnDefinitely worth it for the price and location, if I wasn't going to UNL, then that would be questionable.
