I've stayed here for 1 night back in May 8th 2017. The Property Managers were very nice and friendly, clean room, very quiet atmosphere, close to downtown, entertainment! I'd recommend this place to anybody who wants a relaxing place to feel like home...sorry this review is written by me 3 1/2 years later

The Great Plains is a mid-Century motel located on Lincoln Nebraska's Main Street about two miles from UN-L's downtown campus. It is operated by a nice Indian family and has clean non-smoking rooms. Classy? No. But cheap, safe, and nice people. If you are a Marriott, Starwoods, or Hilton brand type consumer, skip it. If you are into hostels but need a private room and a hot shower, stay here.
