Learning Power Academics Tutoring

My son has been receiving tutoring support at Learning Power for several years. He has been engaged in the homework help program and the ACT prep program and has truly benefited from this experience! His current tutor, Miss Hallie, has provided so much guidance, direction, and academic support! I just can’t say enough good things! My younger daughter is a sophomore in high school and she is also starting at Learning Power, as her course work is getting more difficult and college readiness is in full swing. The staff at Learning Power are so amazing! They provide flexibility, without the restraints of a contract. Top notch, family owned business!!

My second grade daughter has been attending Learning Power Academics since October 2020 and has improved in both math and reading efficiency! She enjoys going and showing her teacher the progress she has made. Distance Learning was tough for her and she needed this reinforcement!

We started with Ms. Julie when my eldest was in Kindergarten and about 2 years later my youngest started during PK4. She is patient, motivated and kept my kids motivated. She offered water and a snack to the kids so they aren't hungery when studying. She also rewards them with points to pick from prize cabinet. My eldest went for more of a challenge than what school offered and for writing help. My youngest was learing to write and read with her. Ms. Julie has always made time for me to express my concerns. We moved out of state and when covid hit she was willing to tutor my eldest again remotely. It isn't the best....but it is remote...so not the same. She has been there to troubleshoot teacher issues, and even trying to make sense of state assessments that are out of state to better understand my child's needs. I think if I had to nitpick one thing was she can get distracted sometimes...with other tutors or other people popping in to ask questions. It isn't huge and often. She is the owner so it is expected. We won't stay after covid settles more since my son needs an in-person tutor and sadly Ms. Julie is a few states away. She has been amazing, highly qualified and reasonably priced.

My name is Andrew and I am a student at Learning Power Acadmeics. I go to Prior Lake High School. I have been at LPA for 4 years (since I started before high school).nI cannot put into words how much they have helped me with my school. I would like to especially recognize Hallie who has helped me in my education so much. I truly would not be where I am today without her and the whole centers help. LPA does everything from tutoring young children in various subjects all the way through the end of high school. LPA can help with ANY subject your kid or young adult needs help with. I have gotten help with literally every subject since going, essay help for applying to collages, and ACT prep which another stellar aspect of LPA. So it’s not just school, but other super important stages for taking the next step. I cannot put into words how well informed, educated, respected, and amazing these tutors are. It’s also a small and family business. There are only 4 tutors in the whole building so it’s not like any other place. It’s small, compact, and you get to know your tutor and connect with them. It’s also tailored and you aren’t with other students. So it’s one-on-one time you get for a whole hour. I just can’t express how much they have helped me grow in my education, and college application, as well as my ACT. I would not be in the position I am education and personality wise without Hallie and LPA. I really hope you will consider signing up!

This is byfar the best place in the world. They make tutoring fun and easy. It is full of good vibes and amazing people. But for real, they have helped me achieve all A's in my first college classes and I am nothing but grateful for them and everything that they do here at learning power. I have never been at such a home away from home place. I have a friend who goes here as well and we tutor together sometimes. We have made such good friends with the tutors here and they are like family to us.
