Both of my children have attended Aspen Academy, my daughter since 6th grade and son since 2nd. They are now graduating high school and 8th grade. Aspen provided them a great foundation of critical thinking, responsibility, ownership, entrepreneurial skills and core knowledge that have enabled them to excel scholastically, be more confident and foster independence. When I moved my kids to Aspen all those years ago, I visited 13 schools and had a spreadsheet with all the pros and cons. What ultimately made the decision is that the kids at Aspen looked happy when we visited. No middle school experience is perfect, but I would make the same decision over again and recommend my friends to do the same.

Worst school for kids of color. Please do ur research before going and beware of the 3rd grade teacher Ms Parker, my nephew is still having nightmares.

Great first year experience. Very dedicated teachers and staff. Even during covid/lock down distance learning setup and resources was beyond my expectations...very impressive.

This is our first year at Aspen and everyone is incredible. I have a 3rd and 4rth grader and they LOVE it. We enrolled from out of district, my 4rth grader was a bit hesitant but she fit in right away and never looked back. My 3rd grader loves school for the first time since preschool.nFor academics, they do push the kids more than the old school they went but they make it fun so it has not felt like a huge change to my kids. They have the same amount of homework as any other school.nnIt has been a great experience. I’m so glad I took the leap to change schools for my kids. I highly recommend Aspen.
