Boat Departed Early and broken my 4yo's heartnnThis was going to be the highlight of our trip for the little guy. We were there before the departure time, the boat was there also, but in a hast to leave early they they had already taking off a line.nnInstead of putting the line back on and letting us board, the boat went 100 yards from the dock and sat for 10 min.nnCustomer service agents also argued with me in person and on the phone when I was simply asking for a refund.

We did this in July 2020. For the money we spent it was very short. I thought we were going to go deeper into Lake superior. We just went underneath the drawbridge and stayed on the other side and then came back. That was extremely boring and extremely short for the money we spent.

We just had our wedding aboard the Vista Star last weekend and everything about it was perfect!!! Colleen was so amazing to work with from start to finish. We promptly responds to any questions we had and never once did we feel like we were being a burden to her. She was so friendly and cheerful to work with and we would highly recommend to the Vista to Fleet to anyone looking for a nautical destination wedding!!!! We loved the simplicity and ease of a destination wedding. Their packages are wonderful- we chose the platinum package which was perfect for what we needed. The vendors they recommended were wonderfully organized-it was minimal effort on our part! Everything was delivered to the ship before we boarded and was a breeze. The ceremony was customized to what we wanted, the weather was perfect, the food and staff amazing, and the sunset was to dream for!!! 5 stars all around!!!! We can't wait to come back to celebrate future anniversaries with them!

Enjoyable and worth it, especially the twin harbors part (lake portion skimpy). Would appreciate more in-depth info, history, etc. also would appreciate use ( and explanation) of nautical terms. Jokes don’t replace good info on the area, which is rich in activity and history.

First off, I have done this many times over the years....this last time we had probably the best Guide....her information was excellent. This boat ride, especially if you have never done it, is completely worth taking the time to do. With that being said, I STRONGLY advise against buying a Gift Certificate from this establishment. I bought one during Covid on a promotion they were running (thought I would help a business out) that was a BAD decision on my part. I had NOTHING but trouble trying to redeem this card....at one point during the MANY issues with this GC.. VERY rude young worker actually tried telling me that the GC couldn't be used for items in the store, only for tickets. What? Trying to redeem this GC was a very long process that caused more issues than it was worth, live and learn!
