The employees try really hard to provide exceptional customer service, but this is a busy pharmacy and they don't appear to have adequate staffing and meds are frequently out of stock. CVS could do allot to improve this location, but the workers are really great!

My 5-yo daughter just got an Rx to treat her ear infection. Our pediatrician sent the Rx electronically to Richfield Target pharmacy. I decided to stop there on my way home, even though it meant bringing my daughter into the store (which I really try to avoid during the pandemic) because we needed to get her Rx right away. I called the pharmacy from the Doctor’s office to let them know I was coming and to make sure they would have the Rx ready. The person on the phone asked some questions followed by a long silence without letting me know what was going on. When I asked if they were still there, I was put on hold. Finally I was told to come in and bring my daughter’s insurance card. I arrived and waited in line with my daughter in tow. When I got to the window, the staff person sent me to the drop-off window saying it was “for insurance.” The person at that window ran the card and told me that they were not in network for my insurance provider. I ended up making a trip inside a busy store with my child at a peak shopping time with nothing to show for it. At no time did anyone apologize for my inconvenience or really demonstrate basic customer service.

Megan and team were great. She told me about a manufacturer coupon that took my scrip from $240 to $75. Fantastic attention to detail. Will definitely use again.

Terrible. I’ve taken 10 surveys in the last year mentioning the ridiculous wait times not only in person at the pharmacy but just in general for the length of time it takes to fill a prescription. Nothing has changed. Luckily, CVS has a partnership with Target because without that they would have a difficult time maintaining customers.
