I stole from here and it was great.
Never bank with Bank of America. They are truly Bank of Deceit of America and I'm serious. I opened a Core checking account with them two months ago and the fine print said they won't charge me Maintanance fee if I 1- direct deposit $250 or more in a month 2- if I maintain a balance of $1500 on my bank. I met both criteria but guess what? They still charged me $12 Maintanance fee. I called them to know why . Their answers were worse than the explanation I was expecting. They said the direct deposit has to be $250 lump sum or more. I'm self employed limo driver so my employer which is Square sends direct deposits everyday's sales on my account which is normally less than $200 a day but still will total more than 3K a month of direct deposit. So since my lump sum is not $250 or more, according to Bank of Deceit of America, I'm not eligible for Maintanance fee waiver. WHAT A SCAM BANK? NEVER WILL I EVER BANK WTH THEM AGAIN.
