Nice, big open area owned by MSU, previous used for teaching. 400 acres, over 3 .5 miles of trails. Most trails are in the open marsh area - totally flat but a few trails are through wooded areas. The wide trails are groomed in the winter so great place to ski - couldn't hit a tree if you tried!nnPlease keep in mind the facility is used for research and teaching as well as being open to the public, so no dogs, hunting or biking.nnThis park seems far less utilized than near by Rose Lake. It is a good area for birding, a wide range of habitats plus a nice little picnic area. Peacock Road north from Clark, left on Herbison Rd, parking and entrance at end of Herbison.nnNo toilets or other amenities. Easy to get to, Definitely worth a visit!
