Have been wanting to go for a couple years now...hoping (Covid restrictions) will allow a visit this summer!
We had a great time on our tour, everything was top notch! The staff was extremely friendly and answered all of our questions. The boat was very clean and well maintained. The water was calm, which made for a smooth ride and for great viewing. It was both educational and fun.
Crew was knowledgeable and put effort into making themselves available and the trip enjoyable. The boat is well maintained and clean. The glass bottom segments are in two sections, about two by eight feet long and consisting of three panels each. They make multiple passes over the shipwrecks so that passengers can take turns by the panels. If you think you are in a boat with a completely transparent bottom you are mistaken. Like me. I think I would have more fun diving to look but the family enjoyed the trip
Never a let down! We've gone several times over the years and always enjoy it. The guides are very friendly and knowledgeable, the boat is very clean and decked out with life jackets. We got to see 2 wrecks along with a few islands and learned lots of great bits about the area.
Great your. We had perfect weather and flat water. Captain and crew very entertaining and informative. Definitely a must do if in Alpena.
