This is a genuinely sweet church with a nice friendly congregation. It's an Episcopal Church, so all are invited.nnThe church was built in 1901 for the English quarrymen and their families who moved to the area to support the granite work that made Mid Coast Maine famous.nnToday the church is little changed, and is a gem nestled quietly in the woods Long Cove.nnSt George's Chapel at Long Cove is seasonal, and is normally open ten Sundays a year, beginning with the last Sunday of June.
